The Australian Business Events Awards recognise the events, products, services, teams, and individuals setting the standard of excellence across the business events industry. From organisers and venues to suppliers, bureaux, and destinations, the Awards celebrate the people and work that move this industry forward. Impact and excellence sit at the heart of every category.
Entering is more than a shot at a trophy. It’s a chance to benchmark your work against the best in the industry, put your achievements in front of the leaders and decision-makers who matter, and give your team the recognition their work deserves. Finalists and winners earn national profile across ABEA’s channels and the credibility that comes with the industry’s peak awards program.
Winners will be announced at the awards gala on 2 December 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the closing night of the ABEA 2026 Conference and Awards.

- The Awards Entry Kit outlines the conditions and parameters for entry.
- Any event or activity that occurred between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026 are eligible to enter.
- 20 October 2026 – Award entries close 5pm (AEDT).
- 21 October 2026 – Judging commences.
- 8 November 2026 – Judging ends.
- 2 December 2026 – Awards evening and winners announced at Adelaide Convention Centre.
