Samantha Glass

Samantha Glass is known for her role as founding member of ICC Sydney’s leadership team and as an ASM Global ambassador, spearheading pioneering initiatives in sustainability and corporate social responsibility, including ICC Sydney’s renowned Legacy Program and Corporate Social Responsibility Plan.
As a champion of sustainability and social justice, Sam founded ICC Sydney’s industry leading Legacy Program, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan and Accessible and Inclusive Events Guide. She leads the venue’s CSR Steering Committee and is chair of ICC Sydney’s Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group that is committed to fostering acknowledgment, inclusion and opportunities for Australia’s First Nations people.
Her global industry participation includes the founding of and ongoing participation in the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) Future Shapers Taskforce and oversees ICC Sydney’s commitment to the Joint Meetings Industry Council’s Net Zero Carbon Events pledge.
Locally, Sam is the chair of the Australian Business Events Association’s Sustainability Council – where she seeks to support industry-wide action to protect the environment and drive social impact.
Proactively shaping Sydney, Sam participates on several city advisory groups including the Sydney Business Events Coalition and New Sydney Waterfront Company, advocating the benefits and impact of business events to city shapers, influencers and decision makers.
