Jess Miller
Director, New Normal
Jess Miller is the Director of a New Normal Sydney – a project that fast-tracks the transition from cities from consumers to producers through integrating the physical infrastructure that makes the city work, with the cultural infrastructure that enables us all to thrive.
Known for her creative approach to sustainability and trends, Jess’ work includes the Sydney Doesn’t Suck campaign for which she won a Good Food Food for Good Award, her food curation program as part of TEDxSydney and most recently the New Normal activation as part of Vivid Sydney.
Jess served has served on the Board of the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and is a current member of TEDxSydney and the National Art School. She was a Councillor and Deputy Lord Mayor at the City of Sydney from 2016 – 2021 and was recently re-elected as a Councillor.
