Lorelle is an accomplished tourism and events professional who leads BEDA’s Tourism, Business and Major Events team and champions Brisbane’s visitor economy sector.   

With a focus on driving long-term sustainable economic growth, Lorelle leads an experienced team responsible for the attraction and support of Business Events (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) Major Events, including sporting blockbusters, cultural performances and exhibitions, and increasing visitation and visitor spend in Brisbane through the delivery of industry development programs and trade engagement initiatives.

Lorelle has over two decades of experience in the Tourism, Conventions and Events industries having worked across a diverse range of organisations in the UK, Canada and Australia. Working with BEDA since 2005, Lorelle has been instrumental in raising Brisbane’s profile as a world-class destination to visit, meet and do business.
