Joel McKerrow has spent the last fifteen years captivating hundreds of thousands of people, on global stages, with his passionate performative style and highly inspiring keynote presentations. He is an award-winning writer, keynote speaker, performer, MC and one of Australia's most successful performance poets.

He has represented Australia at the Individual World Poetry Slam Championships and performed on stages from the Sydney Opera House to Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Centre and Montreal’s Metropolis. He is Director of The School for Creative Development, an author with Penguin Random House, Vic/Tas President for Professional Speakers Australia, and is widely praised for his creative genius and impact on leaders and teams.

As a Creativity and Innovation Specialist, Joel works with organisations of every size and sector to help leaders and teams unlock the conditions for creativity and innovation to thrive. His portfolio spans clients from Village Roadshow, AIME and the Global Health Summit to start-ups, education and international conferences. A prolific writer, Joel has published seven spoken word/music albums, eight books of poetry, a graphic novel series and a teen HEIST series with Penguin Random House. He also hosts The Deep Place Podcast and serves as Artist Ambassador for TEARFUND Australia.
